Bill sent me a few texts that Abigail was enjoying playing in the mud!
In the middle of this thankfully Abigail was with Bill having tons of fun! I filled up my phone so there is absolutely no memory so I am not getting all the photos people send any more! So as soon as I download them I will post some pictures of her muddy adventure!
After Madison's appointment I decided to meet up with Bill and Abigail. I wanted to hear what the eye doctor had to say. As I was getting Madison out and started on her next feed, Abigail sees me as she is walking up with the ramp and lifts her foot for me to see all her mud. She was so proud of her muddy boots and kept saying "Mommy, Mommy". When we got in the office she displayed her boots to me again with a huge smile! A teenage girl was sitting near by and Abigail started to lift her feet to show her all her hard work playing in the mud. It was very sweet!
Thankfully the doctor doesn't think Abigail has a lazy eye but still wants to see her in a year. Apparently they can do corrective surgery when they are this young and when a parent has a lazy eye they automatically test for it. Her eyes are very close like mine so he thinks it may appear at times she has a lazy eye. I only seem to get it when I am tired and my Mom had it as well. It's never bothered my vision though.
We decided to go for pizza near by because Abigail hasn't been eating well again. We found this cute pizza place near the doctors office called Giovani's Pizza. Very kid friendly! They cut up Abigail's pizza to make it easier for her gave the girls balloons and stuffed animals! The waitress was very nice and attentive to us and the girls.
We back up to go home and Madison started to look like she was struggling again but stopped. Well as soon as I hit the driveway the poor little thing started to vomit again. Lord we just pray whatever she is fighting you heal her and that she can tolerate her feeds!
The pictures made me smile and helped releive the stress I was under. Madison has been vomiting again on her feeds. I was having difficulty finding a parking space at the hospital garage. I drove all the way up to the roof (where Bill propose, a story for another time) and still found nothing so I was working my way back down. Thankfully I found one and started to back in, when Madison started struggling and then started to vomit. I quickly parked and ran out to help her. I had no saline or bulb in the bag because we haven't been needing it when we go out (we just don't go out often with her and everything is home). Well she was struggling and having difficulty breathing so I ran from the 6th floor parking garage into the Children's Hospital and asked if they could rush checking me in. Thankfully they obliged and I ran to the elevator and then to the doctors office and requested a room, bulb and saline. Stress level was high. Thankfully Madison was still able to breath some, struggling but not turning blue! The nurse found saline but no bulb to clear her. Hard to believe Ear, Nose, and Throat has no bulbs down the hall, none the less Dr. Rader ran to another floor and got us 2! Poor Madison, she was so drained from it all!Dr. Rader is one of her favorites and she usually has lots of smiles for her. By the time Dr.Rader was heading out the door Madison started to come back around and give her smiles and kicking her feet.
